The National Museum of Ghana

Established in 1957, the same year Ghana gained independence, the National Museum of Ghana stands as the country’s oldest and largest museum — a symbolic guardian of Ghana’s history, culture, and identity.

Located in the heart of Accra, the museum is more than a building filled with artifacts; it is a storytelling space where the past meets the present.
