“Beautiful Country, Beautiful People” — Palestinian TikToker Praises Ghana’s Warm Hospitality

Palestinian solo traveler and TikTok content creator, Waleed Maoed, has shared his heartfelt experience of Ghana’s warm hospitality, describing the country as one of the most welcoming places he has visited.

In a video shared on his social media platform, Waleed spoke glowingly about the friendliness of Ghanaians and the genuine kindness he has encountered since arriving in the country.

“The people in Ghana are amazing,” he said. “So far, everyone I’ve met has been friendly and always smiling. When I walk around, people come up to me and ask how I’m doing.”

He went on to compare his experience in Ghana with some of his travels across West Africa, noting a clear difference in how people respond to cameras.

“I’ve had a bit of a tough time in some West African countries where people don’t really like being filmed,” he explained. “But here in Ghana, people see the camera and they love it.”

Clearly impressed, Waleed expressed his gratitude to Ghanaians for the warm reception he has received and the positive impression the country has left on him.

“So shout out to the people of Ghana for treating a tourist this way and leaving such a great impression,” he said. “I highly recommend that people come and visit Ghana. It’s a beautiful, beautiful country. Come here and spend some time.”

His glowing endorsement has since drawn praise from viewers online, further highlighting Ghana’s reputation as a top destination known for its hospitality and rich culture.
