Golf Meets Lake: GTDC Profiles Ghana’s First Island Golf Park for Potential Investors.

The Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC) is planning an exciting new project, Ghana’s very first island golf park.

The proposed site is an island on the Volta Lake, offering a unique setting for a world-class golf course and a luxury leisure resort. With beautiful lake views and a peaceful environment, the project has the potential to become a top destination for both tourists and investors.

The island covers about 50 acres, making it ideal for a well-designed golf park. GTDC hopes to work closely with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts to develop the island into a standout attraction. According to GTDC, the island has existed for many years and is now ready for development. The goal is to turn it into a golf course unlike any other in Ghana.

A golf course built on an island would be a first for the country. If completed, it would be the only island golf course in Ghana, located right on the Volta Lake. This would place Ghana on the map as a unique golf and leisure destination in West Africa.
