Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Abeiku Santana, has shared an update on how preparations are going for the activities and programs lined up for this December.
Speaking in an interview on JoyNews, Mr. Santana said the Ghana Tourism Authority is excited, as always, to promote Ghana and invite more people to visit the country. He explained that over the past few months, they have been promoting “Destination Ghana” in several countries, including the United States, parts of Europe, and different African countries.
He also mentioned that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be hosting a Diaspora Summit this year and, for the first time, participants of the event will enjoy visa-free entry into Ghana. The summit will take place from December 18–19. According to him, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Transport, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will soon make an official announcement about this special arrangement.
